Ep. 2. What is the difference between a psychic and a medium?

Medium in my definition is an element that could collect, store, translate or manipulate energy from A point to B point.

We have a lots of natures medium, such as water, rock and wood. (which means plants as well.)

To give an example, if you carry a cup of water to someone when you carry some strong emotions towards that particular someone, the chance is that you will be changing the quality of that cup of water into what you are feeling.  It’s the same to say, if you drink a cup of water believing it will do you good everyday, the chance is that cup of water will do you good indeed.

When I use ‘medium’ to describe a psychic, I expect that medium to do what I describe above.  While someone may not be able to see thing in different dimension, but is able to manipulate energy with intention for specific purpose, (such as healer), I will categorize them as medium as well.

So again, a medium is most likely to be a psychic (base on their skill to sense thing), but a psychic may not be a medium.

To make it clear.  Imagine a ghost is the Japanese and the human is the American, when a psychic has no interest in being the translator between the two, he or she cannot really be called a medium.  🙂
